At Access Abilities Disability & Aged Care Services, our Day Program is designed to provide participants with meaningful activities, social connection, and opportunities to build independence in a safe and supportive environment. Our programs are created to suit people of all abilities, with activities tailored to meet the individual needs, interests, and goals of each participant.
We understand that everyone is different, which is why our day programs are flexible and participant-focused, ensuring that every person feels comfortable, supported, and valued while taking part.
Our Day Program Options
Men’s Program
Our men’s day program provides a comfortable and supportive space where male participants can connect with others, build friendships, and take part in activities that match their interests. Activities may include community outings, sports, skill-building activities, and social events.
Women’s Program
Our women’s day program is designed to create a welcoming and empowering environment for female participants. The program focuses on building confidence, social connections, and engaging in activities such as wellness sessions, creative activities, community outings, and group discussions.
Group Community Outing Program
Our group community outing program encourages participants to explore and engage with the wider community. Participants can enjoy activities such as visiting parks, cafes, shopping centres, events, recreational venues, and other local attractions while developing social skills and independence.
Behaviour Support Day Program
We also offer a structured Behaviour Support Day Program designed for participants who benefit from additional guidance and support. Our trained team provides a calm, structured environment that promotes positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and skill development while ensuring participants feel safe, respected, and supported.

At Access Abilities Disability & Aged Care Services, our 1:1 Community Access Support is designed to help participants safely and confidently engage with their local community while receiving personalised support tailored to their individual needs.
Our dedicated support workers provide one-on-one assistance, ensuring that each participant receives the attention, encouragement, and guidance they need to enjoy meaningful community experiences while building independence and confidence.
We work closely with participants and their families to understand their interests, goals, and preferences, allowing us to create community experiences that are enjoyable, safe, and fulfilling.
Participants may receive support with activities such as:
Attending appointments and personal errands
Visiting parks, cafes, and recreational facilities
Shopping and everyday community activities
Participating in hobbies, sports, and local events
Developing life skills and independence
Social outings and building community connections

At Access Abilities Disability & Aged Care Services, we provide compassionate and reliable in-home support to help participants live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. Our support services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each participant, ensuring they receive the right level of care while maintaining dignity and independence.
We support participants with high care needs as well as those who require assistance with everyday tasks. Our experienced and caring support workers are dedicated to delivering personalised support in a respectful and supportive environment.
Our In-Home Support Services Include
Personal Care
We provide assistance with personal care needs such as showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene, always ensuring participants feel comfortable and respected.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Our team supports participants with daily routines and essential tasks that help them maintain independence and wellbeing at home.
Meal Preparation
We assist with preparing healthy meals based on the participant’s preferences and dietary requirements, encouraging independence where possible.
Household Assistance
Our support workers can help with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and general home organisation to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
24-Hour 1:1 In-Home Support
For participants who require continuous care, we provide 24-hour one-on-one in-home support. This ensures participants receive ongoing assistance, supervision, and care at any time of the day or night, giving both participants and families peace of mind.
Our Commitment
At Access Abilities, we believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered in their own home. Our in-home supports are designed to promote independence, improve quality of life, and provide compassionate care tailored to each participant’s individual needs.
Access Abilities Disability & Aged Care Services is excited to announce that our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service will be coming soon. This service will provide participants with the opportunity to live more independently while receiving the daily support they need in a safe and supportive home environment.
Our Supported Independent Living homes will be designed to help participants build life skills, develop independence, and enjoy a comfortable and stable living arrangement. Participants will receive support from our experienced and caring team, who will be available to assist with everyday tasks while encouraging independence and personal growth.
What Supported Independent Living Will Include
Our SIL service will support participants with:
Daily living skills and routines
Personal care and hygiene support
Meal preparation and cooking
Household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Community participation and social activities
Building independence and confidence
Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive home environment where participants can feel comfortable, respected, and empowered to live as independently as possible.
At Access Abilities, we are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support, and we look forward to expanding our services to include Supported Independent Living in the near future.

Hi, I’m Rachelle, the Director of Access Abilities Disability & Aged Care Services. I have dedicated my entire working career to the disability and aged care sector, and I have a genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience, which allows me to understand the unique needs of participants and their families. I take pride in the expertise I bring to the sector and in the growth I have achieved professionally over the years.
At Access Abilities, I am fortunate to work alongside a team of dedicated, compassionate, and highly trained staff who share my passion for providing high-quality support. Together, we strive to create an environment where participants feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their personal goals.
